Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli has won the toss and elected to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Monday in Eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Both the teams made no changes in their playing XI for the knockout game at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Bangalore finished third in the league stage with 18 points while Kolkata were the last team to qualify for the playoffs with 14 points. RCB registered a hard-fought victory by 7 wickets in their last league game against Delhi Capitals who lost Qualifier 1 to Chennai Super Kings. KKR will be full of confidence as they are coming on the back of two back-to-back victories in their last two league stage matches. Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper has won the toss and elected to bat vs Kolkata Knight Riders in Eliminator at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

KKR registered a big win by 9 wickets over RCB when they met last time during the league stage. RCB got all out for 92 runs in that game where Varun Chakravarthy and Andre Russell didn’t allow Bangalore batters to settle with their regular wickets. Chakravarthy and Russell got three wickets each in that clash while Lokie Ferguson got two.
Match 10- Chennai
Batting first RCB put up 204 runs on the board where AB de Villiers (76*) and Glenn Maxwell (78) were the standout performers with the bat. ABD remained not out and played with a strike rate of 275 to take his team to a big total. Later while bowling RCB bowlers dominated the game and guided their team to a comfortable 38-run win.
Today both sides will faceoff for the third time this season to go a step ahead to play the finals against Chennai Super Kings. The losing side will be eliminated while the winning team will take on Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 2.
