The Philadelphia 76ers and free-agent forward P.J. Tucker are finalizing a three-year deal worth $33.2 million, his agent told The Athletic.

The Sixers also agreed to deals with free-agent guards Danuel House and Trevelin Queen, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. House’s deal is for two years and $8.5 million, sources said.

After winning a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, Tucker joined another Eastern Conference contender in the Heat, helping them to the best record in the conference last season.

Tucker, 37, especially shined in the playoffs, where he knocked down 45% of his 3-pointers while playing 28 minutes per game in Miami’s run to the conference finals. Despite his age, Tucker again proved to be exceptionally durable after playing 71 games in the regular season and then all 18 of Miami’s playoff games.

Heat team president Pat Riley called Tucker a “cornerstone” player during his news conference after Miami’s season ended in a loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 7. Tucker opted out of his $7.4 million player option with Miami ahead of free agency.

Tucker spent five seasons playing overseas after he was waived by the Toronto Raptors late in his rookie year and has earned a reputation as one of the NBA’s premier role players primarily due to his defensive versatility and toughness.

Tucker has career averages of 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
